Where Can You Find Cheap Dog Agility Equipment?

As you get into dog agility, you’ll discover that cheap dog agility equipment doesn’t exist.  Actually, it does exist, but it’s hard to locate.  Dog agility training is a lot of fun, and you and your dog can practice right in your own back yard.  But, my goodness, you can spend a lot of money on equipment.  And you don’t want to do that; you want to spend your money on entry fees for competitions.

That means that finding cheap dog agility equipment is important.  So, where can you scrounge up some cheap dog agility equipment?

You can probably make some of the equipment yourself, and that’s the cheapest dog agility equipment you’ll get.  Dog agility books and magazines have plans and ideas for constructing some of your own equipment, and if you are fairly handy, you can save a lot of money that way. 

Another way to find cheap dog agility equipment is to beg other dog handlers.  Go to club meetings and ask around.  Maybe you’ll find people with equipment to sell or trade.  You could even set up an equipment exchange.  Make sure that any used equipment you get is in good shape and safe for your dog to use, and you’ll get some real bargains.

You might be able to find cheap dog agility equipment on an internet auction or through want ads.  Keep your eyes open and you might be able to pick up some equipment that way.

If you have to buy retail agility equipment, look for kits.  Look for clearance sales, too.  Try to find the best bargains you can.  Remember, you’re looking for cheap dog agility equipment.

You can’t just open up a catalog or magazine and find cheap dog agility equipment.  If you use your imagination and creativity, though, you should be able to find some very cheap dog agility equipment.
